Our Uniform

The Explorer Shirt is the main part of our uniform. We wear them every week and our shirt is where we put on all of the badges we work hard to earn.

These can be bought new online from the Scout Shop but we do try to get second hand Explorer shirts in to make it cheaper for families.

Our Explorer t-shirt is what we wear every week to our meeting and also when we go out in the public. This is to promote the Unit and to show that we are modern and our uniform isn't all about our shirt.

Our t-shirt can be purchased by the Unit for £10.

The Unit Necker is what stands out the most out of our Uniform. Our necker is individual to our Unit meaning it will be very rare you will find anyone else wearing the same necker.

We wear our neckers for anything we do as a Unit. You're first necker is free but if you lose it, you will be charged for a replacement.

We don't wear activity trousers on a weekly basis in our unit. Instead we wear them for formal events, like Awards Evenings and Parades.

Activity trousers can be bough new on the Scout Store or second hand online. That being said we are very happy with our Explorers wearing smart trousers to our formal events instead of activity trousers.
